But now I've experienced it myself and I have to say it's unique and I don't regret starting eve years ago and wasting my time with other space games. I also read a few articles about the eve universe community and was always skeptical of the positive reports about this supposedly so good player base. It's not even the game itself that has won me over, but the players! I could write a lot more, but I think it's all said. The best part is that I really want to play this game. they gave me tricks and tips to write links in the chat and explained the mechanics of the player to me. Within hours, the players explained everything to me in order to have the feeling that the game is not that difficult anymore, I quickly learned what to skill, they explained agent missions to me to find out what I want, the market, stocks, mining and industry. the chat within the corporation was also extremely friendly and helpful. I noticed, even though I had been playing for two hours, that all of a sudden I was only in my base and interacting with other players. It went so far that I had to decide which corporation I want to join. They said they enjoy seeing new players that brings a breath of fresh air to the game. Many wrote to me that they would like to include me in their corporation if I want that. it didn't take long and contact requests came in. my questions were answered in seconds, everyone was friendly. To feel so accepted as a new player in a game that has been a loyal player for decades, I have never known from any game that I have ever played. Everyone was so helpful it was just amazing. I immediately received replies from several people. I've written in the stupid and classic questions of an absolute beginner. So by chance I found the help channel in chat and that's where the real magic of Eve Online began, which I was able to experience right away. It was said to move this item over here, this over there, click up here, up there. When I was finally on my starting base, it quickly became difficult, I could no longer follow the AI and the missions properly, it became more incomprehensible and I actually had no idea what I was doing. The graphics on my 4k display were stunning. The initial missions were simpler than expected and easy to understand. First I played the simplified version of Eve Echoes to prepare myself a bit because it doesn't seem that big. This video gave me the idea to give it a try after years. Now I have seen a video on Youtube with the title: Eve online in 2021. I then decided to play games like Elite Dangerous, Battlestar Galactica Online and Star Trek Online. I always avoided starting with it because I had always heard that the game was only for hardcore players because it was so extensive and difficult.
